Organic farms

From fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy products to wheat and herbs, organic farms offer a diverse range of foods that are free from harmful residues and rich in nutrients.

Strickerhof

The Strickerhof is located in the middle of orchards in the Bolzano valley basin near Sigmundskron Castle. The organically run farm has a long wine-growing tradition. Grapes have been processed into fine wines here since 1907. Today, the family also offers fresh seasonal fruit, delicious quince jelly, distillates as well as various apple juices and grape juice in their own farm store.

Thomas Niedermayr - Organic Winery

 

Nestled in the rolling vineyards of the Überetsch region, a sun-drenched hillside path above St. Michael | Eppan leads through the vines to the Gandberg farm. The view speaks for itself. Gandberg is the heart and origin of the Thomas Niedermayr organic winery. This is where the grapes are grown – and where they begin their journey into the cellar, to mature and eventually be bottled.
