This year, too, everything revolved around wine and culture during the WineCultureWeeks in the historic alleys and huts of the wine village of St. Pauls | Eppan from July 21 to 31. Whether convivial tasting evenings, culinary delights or a selected cultural program on the theme of wine - the noble protagonist of this series of events skilfully presented itself in all its diversity.
The prelude was the "South Tyrolean Wine Promenade" on July 21, where exquisite wines and distillates of the Eppan producers and the South Tyrolean Sparkling Wine Association were served in combination with culinary delights of the Paulsner restaurants.
On Saturday, July 23, the Paulsner farmers' wives created tasty dumpling variations in the wonderful ambience of the Ansitz Altenburg, under the motto "From round to colourful".
Star chef Herbert Hintner spoiled 334 gourmet lovers for the 17th time on Tuesday, July 26 at the "Gastliche Tafel", which was over 100 meters long. The unique ambience between lovely oriels and historical seats and the five-course menu, which was kept secret until the end, including wine accompaniment promised a pleasure experience for all the senses.
The numerous guests enjoyed the atmospheric sounds of the Men's Singing Society Tramin and the Paulsner Weisenbläser with a glass of wine in the courtyard of the Widumhaus on Wednesday, July 27.
On Thursday, July 28, the Consulta Culturale presented the cultural program "Redivino" in Italian language followed by a tasting of wines from the St. Pauls Winery in the courtyard of the Widumhaus.
Summer beats and wines in large format bottles attracted visitors to the Big Bottle Party in the lower village of St. Pauls on Friday, July 29.
