Song evening
8 pm
A song evening will take place for the first time as part of the Eppan Song Summer. The German-Hungarian mezzo-soprano Corinna Scheurle will perform together with Klara Hornig at the piano. Corinna Scheurle began her professional career after completing her master's degree at the August Everding Theater Academy in Munich with Prof. KS Christiane Iven in 2017 on the stage of the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, where she became a member of the International Opera Studio. From the 2021/22 season, Corinna Scheurle will be a permanent member of the ensemble at the Staatstheater Nürnberg. The young mezzo-soprano will also make her debut as Cherubino in “Le nozze di Figaro” at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin, conducted by Daniel Barenboim. At the Tyrolean Festival in Erl, she will also portray Waltraute in “Die Walküre” for the first time. Corinna Scheurle will be accompanied by her long-standing duo partner Klara Hornig, a renowned lied pianist and sought-after teacher.

Matinée

The matinée at the Lanserhaus will feature the young mezzo-soprano Anja Mittermüller, accompanied by her duo partner Richard Fu on the piano. Anja Mittermüller won the Wigmore Hall/Bollinger International Song Competition in 2024. Ms. Mittermüller prepared intensively for this competition for 3 days in the 2024 master class with Brigitte Fassbaender and immediately afterwards traveled directly to the competition in England, which she then won.

Closing concert
8 pm
As always, the masterclasses with Brigitte Fassbaender, which are open to the public, are at the heart of the Liedsommer. As usual, the participants in the masterclasses with Prof. Fassbaender, already trained and some already engaged young talents, came from all over the world. At the final concert, the singers of this year's master class will once again be able to present their skills to a wider audience. The participants will be accompanied on the piano by Ms. Elenora Pertz.
