Great joy in Eppan: Two restaurants - the Osteria Acquarol and the Restaurant Zur Rose - have been awarded a Michelin star. "The Michelin Guide is the most important restaurant guide in the world. Michelin stars therefore have great charisma and show gourmets the way to Eppan," Evelyn Falser, president of the Eppan Tourism Association, is pleased to say. The Osteria Acquarol in the centre of St. Michael | Eppan has received the star for the first time. "We are overjoyed, our dream has come true," emphasises Alessandro Bellingeri. Also in the centre of St. Michael | Eppan is the Zur Rose restaurant. "We were awarded our first star in 1995, and since then our firmament has expanded every year," Daniel and Herbert Hintner are proud to say. A proven star restaurant and a new star restaurant: this proves that excellent cuisine has a home and a future in the gourmet destination of Eppan," says HGV chairwoman Elke Morandell Schwarzer.
